Description
This beautiful cheetah resides at the Denver Zoo. I have ambivalent feelings about taking photos of these big African cats kept in captivity. My hope is that pictures showing just how these beautiful and intelligent these animals are will contribute however minutely toward their safety in the wild. The number of these animals, the fastest mammal in the world, are dwindling at a frightening pace. What a loss it would be to have a world without these magnificent creatures.
